An air-filled ball suspends the floating inlet filter just below the water surface where the cleanest water resides. A high quality 1-inch diameter flexible hose allows for connection of the floating inlet to a pump or suction line. Filter is made out of lead-free brass with a 1.2 mm stainless steel screen and a built in check valve.
Flexible suction hose is specially formulated to resist biological activity and is available in custom lengths. Made from high quality "Good Year" material, this reinforced hose works great in both suction and discharge applications. Hose comes equipped with male and female quick disconnect couplings that are secured with metal bands. The Hose is manufactured from PVC Plasticised hose and has an incorporated spiral reinforcement of anti-shock rigid PVC. The inside surface is smooth and the outside is a light corrugated surface.
