This industrial hydraulic directional control valve conforms to the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) D05 mounting pattern for subplate or manifold mounting. As a four-way valve, it is commonly used to extend and retract a double-acting hydraulic cylinder or to control a rotary hydraulic motor. As a spring-centered valve, it will remain in its home position with P and T ports commonly connected until shifted electrically to one of two positions to either extend or retract a cylinder, returning to home when the power is removed. Its molded coils are moisture and dirt resistant. Indicating signal lights, manual override, bolt kit and electrical junction box are standard. The valve mounts on Northern Tool Subplate 203321 with 3/8in. |

JENCO make spool valve contains brass / mild steel spool floating in static ‘o’ ringsof synthetic rubber inside a aluminium body. The movement of spool is effected either through air pressure or mechanically. The various modes of actuation are listed in chart. For spring /air return type valves the signal (force) must be held continuously as long as actuation is desired. On the contrary the set-reset detained type of valves need only a momentory presence of signal (force) for actuation.
All spool valves can be supplied with sub base and gang manifold versions.
These valves are used for controlling movements of double acting and single acting air cylinders. The size of valve should be appropriate with the cylinder diameter, stroke and speed desired.
