3M™ heat shrink shrinks to half of its original size (2:1) and offers an outstanding balance of electrical, physical and chemical properties for a wide variety of applications. Rated for 275ºF(135ºC) continuous operation. This tubing is typically used as a shrink-fit electrical insulation over splices and terminations. It is also used for lightweight wire harness covering, wire marking, wire bundling, component packaging and fire resistant covering. The heat shrink tubing is split resistant, mechanically tough, easily marked and resists cold flow. Sold in 4ft. lengths with header. Specifications: *UL Recognized and CSA Certified at 600 volts at 257ºF(125ºC) *UL File No. E-39100 and CSA No. 38227. MIL-I-23053/5, Class 1,2. AMS 3636 (Type I) and AMS 3637 (Type II).
