Seat face:stellited.ground and lapped to a mirror finish.
Flexible Wedge:with low center stem-wedge contact.in solid CA15(13Cr)or hardface with 13Cr ,SS316,monel or stellited.Wedge is ground and lapped to a mirror finish and tightly guided to prevent dragging and seat damage.a stellite 6 hardfaced CF8M wedge is also available.
Non-rotating Stem:with precision Acme threads and burnished finish.Double Acme for faster operation.
Body and Bonnet:castings are precision machined.One-piece bonnet up to 12"(300mm)for better alignment and fewer parts.
Gland:has two-piece construction for easy alignment.
Flanges:
Classes 150-300:1/6" raised face.
Classes 600-1500:1/4" raised face.
Finish 125-250 AARH for all valves
Rotating Stem nut:is austenitic ductil iron Gr D-2C renewable in line(as shown).Thrust bearings are supplied as follows:

A compact but extremely sturdy design for high pressure-temperature service
Solid stellite 6 wedge(optional)ensures low friction and long service life.
For class 1500 valves and for steam service,seats are seal-welded to the body.
Packing rings are precompressed to 4000 psi to provide a highintegrity seal.
For welded bonnet valves,the bonnet is threaded in and torqued to an engineered torque value and the body bonnet joint isstrength-welded,offering double protection against leakage(Body/bonnet threads and strength-weld).
Fully guided wedge reduces wear on seating surfaces,
Repairable 2 -piece stem drive.
A special is also available with double packing,leak-off connection,live-loading and a packing blowout for easy removal of old packing.
